For the first time since in-the-spirit began, we are featuring a gin based cocktail for our cocktail of the month. This featured cocktail is not just with any gin though – but with a most “unusual gin” called Hendricks that we have recently discovered. Hendricks Gin has a clean and refreshing taste which is unusually rich for a gin. This deliciously different taste reflects Hendricks’ handcrafted production which uses an unexpected collection of infusions such as cucumber and rose petals as well as the traditional juniper.

Hendricks gives us a superb base for our Mint Fizz cocktail which also includes a quarter shot of De Kuyper Crème de Menthe, 1 shot of freshly squeezed lime juice plus half a shot of sugar syrup topped up with soda water. All you need to do is shake the first four ingredients together and strain in to an ice filled glass and top up with the soda water. We are sure you will agree that this is a minty, invigorating cocktail which you will find quite refreshing.
