Method:
Prepare the cocktail glass by rubbing lime juice all the way around the edge of the glass and place on a saucer of salt to achieve the salted rim effect. Then add the Tequila, Cointreau and lime juice into a cocktail shaker full of ice and shake well together. Strain into the cocktail glass.
Additional notes:A classic cocktail, sour yet somehow refreshing at the same time! For a combination of citrus flavours, mix half a shot each of lemon juice and lime juice (instead of just lime). |
Garnish:Traditionally served in a salt rimmed glass (see method above), you can also add a sliced wheel of fresh lime if desired.
